How we look after your personal data. Last updated 6 November 2026.
Who we are
This website is run by Reade Plumbing Ltd, trading as Reade Plumbing & Heating Ltd and Niall Reade Bathroom Design (“we”, “us”). We are registered in Ireland (CRO 685051) and based at 1202 Old Greenfield, Greenfield, Maynooth, Co. Kildare, W23 D5F9.
We are the “data controller” for the personal data described below. You can contact us at nrgserv@gmail.com or on +353 86 380 1629.
What we collect
We only collect personal data that you choose to send us through the contact form:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your phone number (optional);
- the contents of your message; and
- a record that you ticked the consent box, with the date and time.
If you phone or email us directly, we will of course also hold whatever you tell us.
Why we use it and our legal basis
We use your details to read and reply to your enquiry, to give you a quote and, if you go ahead, to carry out the work. Our legal bases are your consent (given when you tick the box on the form) and, where you ask us for a quote or a job, taking steps at your request before and during a contract with you.
We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell them to anyone.
Who we share it with
We do not share your details with other businesses for their own purposes. They are handled by service providers who help us run the website and our email, such as our website hosting company and our email provider. These providers act on our instructions. Some of them may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, apply.
We may also disclose data where the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry for as long as we need it to deal with it and any work that follows, and for as long as the law requires us to keep records (for example, for tax and accounting). If your enquiry does not lead to any work, we delete it within 12 months.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it does not load fonts, scripts or maps from third parties. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep basic server logs (such as IP address, date and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. If we add any cookies or tracking tools in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the Data Protection Acts you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong;
- ask us to delete your data;
- ask us to restrict or stop using your data;
- ask for your data in a portable format, where this applies; and
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will reply within one month.
Making a complaint
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28 (www.dataprotection.ie).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
